Welcome to our new online shop! We are excited to offer you a safer shopping experience through our online website and porch pick up.
Thank you for your patience with our team as we navigate our family business through these unusual circumstances. Our business has changed rapidly so that we can continue serving the community. Rest assured that we are continuously working to improve your shopping experience.
Here are some changes we have made recently:
DELIVERIES: We have temporarily paused local deliveries while we get comfortable with our newly expanded online shop. If you have extenuating circumstances that require delivery, please contact us.
PORCH PICK UP: On checkout, please select the date and time you would like to pick up your order at Heatherlea Farm Shoppe. We will set your order outside just prior to your pick up time. Pick up times are Friday between 12 pm – 4:30 pm and Saturday 10 am – 3 pm.
ORDER PROCESSING TIME: Orders take 5+ days to process. We suggest shopping online between Friday and Sunday for the following weekend pick up time. This recommendation is based on when our online store will be at its peak supply of products (see PRODUCT AVAILABILITY below).
WALK-INS: To keep our staff and customers safe, we will not be able to accommodate customers requests at the door. Please place your order online. If you have questions, please contact us by email at info@heatherlea.ca.
FRESH VS FROZEN: Please note that meats and prepared meals may come frozen OR fresh. If you have a preference, please indicate in the order notes and we will do our best (no guarantees at this time).
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY: Due to increased demand and disruptions in local deliveries, some products may become unavailable. In the event a product is unavailable, Heatherlea will fill the remainder of your order and refund you the dollar amount of the unavailable product(s). Heatherlea will update online inventory regularly, so check back for updates. Meat inventories will be updated Thursday/Friday when we receive orders from our local farmers and producers.
CUSTOM PACKAGING REQUESTS: At this time, we unfortunately cannot accommodate custom packaging requests due to the current demand. This includes packaging products in vac pac/plastic instead of paper. Please note that paper packaging is VERY good at maintaining your product in the freezer for long periods of time.
BUTCHER BOXES: Heatherlea may substitute unavailable products with a similar product when preparing Butcher Boxes.
ONLINE PRICING: Please note that pricing online may differ from pricing in-store.
STANDING ORDERS: We are unable to accept new standing orders at this time.
